Mission Statement

Inspired by the passionate and giving spirit that Chuck Rogers had for the Fisher Catholic High School community and by the values he shared and lived with his Bishop Fenwick High School Class of 1969 classmates, this memorial fund is dedicated to provide assistance to Fisher Catholic High School and its community.

The Memorial Fund has two primary purposes:

1. Supporting individuals, organizations and programs that share the ideals and values aligned with Chuck’s passion for helping others and;

2. Providing an ongoing fundraising opportunity to support these individuals, organizations and programs on an annual basis.

Background

Chuck Rogers was a leader and positive influence for the members of the Bishop Fenwick High School Class of 1969 and others that he touched throughout his life. He was a good man, a good husband, a good father and a good example of living a life that focused on helping others. It was tragic that Chuck was lost at such a young age of 63 while he was actively sharing his values with family, friends and the community. His classmates treasure very special memories of times spent with him.

Chuck was very passionate in many things in life, including his support of Fisher Catholic High School and other causes where others were in need. His assistance was seen both in his personal and public lives; he exemplified the virtues of honesty, integrity and fairness. Chuck was honored with induction into the Fisher Catholic-Bishop Fenwick-St. Mary Hall of Fame in 2011. This memorial was formed by his classmates to recognize a truly good man and to do something tangible in order to continue the passion that Chuck had in his life for others.

The memorial fund is also designed to recognize and pay tribute to all deceased members of the Bishop Fenwick High School Class of 1969. This class has long shown a special connection and strong bonds among members that has been recognized over the years by many.
